I had the privilege of serving as a Page in the House for about six weeks this past June and July, and I loved it. I had the opportunity of meeting so many people from all over the United States, I even met a very unique person from the island of Guam. I went there having very little knowledge about the legislative process, and especially the Capitol complex. Well I have enough knowledge now that I can take a group of people on a tour of the Capitol complex and explain to them the law making process. I even had the opportunity of witnesses the expulsion of former Rep., James A. Traficiant, Jr. (D-OH). That was a very exciting and interesting experience. I too also had the opportunity of experiencing a “late night” where I was serving as a Page until 4:00 am. Although it was a late night, I will never forget it. It was a very interesting tenure as Page in the House of Representatives. Thank you.
